Position: JAVA DEVELOPER wtih FLEX / FLASH BACKGROUND

Position Summary: Responsible for continued design and development of user control panel for internal and external
customers, including ad campaign management, reporting data, system health, video management, etc.
What you need for this position:
- Solid hands-on Java skills, with solid understanding of any UI framework
- Good hands-on experience programming in Flex
- Experience with development of Rich Internet Applications (RIA’s) with Flash and Flex
- Good knowledge of ActionScript 3.0, HTML 5
- Experience with development of UI components using MXML and ActionScript 3.0
- Experience with Flex Builder IDE or plugin on Eclipse platform
- Experience architecting and integrating Flex with data services to access back-end data
- Solid SQL/MySQL skills
- Experience working on an Agile/Scrum team preferred but not required
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills in order to interface with various departments
- Excellent customer focus and awareness of the importance of the customer in a service organization
- Excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of technical and non-technical staff

- BlazeDS/AMF Gateway
- Hibernate, Spring
- Video encoding and streaming formats
- Client-side web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash)
- XML
- Subversion

- Developing critical, customer facing, applications

- Building back-end components to access various core systems
- Participating in requirements-gathering and design
- Being involved in all levels of the software development life cycle
